D. Scan & Pay

This function allows the user to scan Security Bank or non-Security Bank Merchant’s QR code to make payment.

1.  After selection of Scan & Pay function in the Home page, the QR code scanner on the user’s mobile phone will be enabled. The user is expected to scan the merchant QR using the mobile phone’s camera

The user will also see an option to Stop Scan to stop the scanning of QR code, then the user will be navigated to the Scan QR Code page. The user can initiate the QR code scanning again by tapping Scan to Pay.

2. After selection of Scan & Pay function in the Home page, the QR code scanner on the user’s mobile phone will be enabled. The user is expected to scan the merchant QR using the mobile phone’s camera.

3. Upon the successful scanning of QR code, the user will be able to see the Payment Information screen, where the amount field is editable. Enter the payment details, as needed.


If the user clicks the Cancel button, he/she will be navigated back to the Scan QR Code screen.

4.  Enter the OTP sent to the user’s nominated email address. Click the Verify OTP button. If user clicks the Back button, he/she will be navigated back to Payment Confirmation screen.


5. Upon input of valid OTP, the payment will be processed and the user will be navigated to the Digital Receipt screen where the transaction status will be displayed. User has the option to go to the Receipt Page or Home page. On the Receipt Page, the transaction details and the Transaction ID will be reflected.
